I spend my time exploring, going out several times a week to find places I have never been before. Sometimes I am chasing wildflower blooms. Sometimes I am just moving until something pulls me in. When I find it, I stay and paint, capturing the feeling of the place as it unfolds. This is how I share those places with you.

About Me
Jenna Garcia earned her PhD in Chemistry from Texas A&M University but discovered that a purely scientific path left little room for creative expression. Feeling disconnected from the world outside the lab, she turned to art as a way to reconnect with life, with nature, and with herself. Now working primarily in soft pastels, Jenna captures subjects ranging from imagined forms to natural studies, guided by curiosity and an appreciation for the present moment. She spends her summers in Los Alamos, where much of her recent work has been developed and exhibited. Jenna is committed to pursuing a career in art and is determined never to miss out on life and sunshine again.
