A Moody Memory of the Caldera

This painting/sketch was not created on site but was inspired by a moody, rainy day at the Valles Caldera. In person the caldera is calm and still, yet I like to imagine it shifting, swaying, and rolling with energy. This piece reflects the caldera in what I sometimes consider my favorite kind of weather.
